Porta Occidentale is located in Imperia, a wonderful town and seaside resort, close to Genova and the Principality of Monaco Montecarlo. The mild climate all year round, the picturesque sites of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio and the exciting atmosphere, ensure a confortable and enjoyable stay for both adults and young people.

Porta Occidentale is an organisation with two main objectives: Work & Study. We organize, trough the year, courses of study for young people and adults. We teach to Italians as well as foreign nationals. We can offer to teachers, schools and individuals: foreign travel, accommodation and holidays, in international school centers. As far as work is concerned we organize business training for professional people, accommodation for young girls as "Au Pair" and short working stays in London and Dublin.

Porta Occidentale offers Italian courses for all Foreigners interested in learning the language for everyday use. Discussions are also held on topics related to the country itself, its artistic and cultural heritage, traditions and folklore of Liguria and its Riviera. Groups are made up of 4 to 10 people and the courses are held in the Porta Occidentale premises. The standard courses, which last for one or two weeks, take place all year and begin as soon as a group is formed. It is also possible to organize intensive courses as well as private lessons.
