Our company FarmingTech Srl also deals with the remote management of automated greenhouses, through appropriate sensors networked together and managed by special software for controlling parameters of the greenhouses.

He has built a prototype of a greenhouse for the cultivation of ornamental plants where the various stages of the cultivation process have been automated and regulated through the use of new technology and the LabView Arduino
The LabView will serve to show the temperature of the greenhouses. The greenhouse arises, moreover, as a project that combines technology and respect for the environment thanks to the use of renewable energy from a photovoltaic panel for the power supply of the system.
What observed: from the display you can observe the variation of the degree of humidity of the soil and the consequent switching on or off of the irrigation system.
Contextually a photovoltaic panel rotates to always maintain the maximum possible solar irradiation and to ensure maximum efficiency.
Explanation: thanks to the program (sketch) made with Arduino programming language and implemented on the card has been possible to control the humidity sensors inserted into the ground by detecting that a low degree of humidity actuate a pump. This allows you to turn on a rain system that irrigates the plants. Reached the required degree of humidity in the soil irrigation system it stops.
The degree of humidity and the possible need for irrigation are displayed on a small display that provides the user with a constant monitoring of system conditions.
The lighting of the greenhouse and irrigation system operation are carried out through the use of solar energy produced by a photovoltaic panel which is set in rotation by a servomotor actuated by Arduino and by the photocell. Thanks to these photoresistors the panel rotates by maintaining itself on the higher irradiation as possible with the maximum guaranteed efficiency
